Fiber Connection Request Service Description
ACES-NH offers the Fiber Connection Request Service to individuals and businesses in areas within the company’s assigned
postal codes where fiber-optic infrastructure has not previously been deployed.
Through this service, beneficiaries can obtain telecommunications infrastructure (fiber), enabling them to subscribe to
home internet services delivered over fiber optics through authorized service providers.
What information does the “Coverage Inquiry” provide?
The Coverage Inquiry provides details on the status of the fiber-optic infrastructure at the requested location and
displays one of the following results:
-
Area Covered: The infrastructure is ready, and a metal plate is installed on the residential unit. The beneficiary can request internet service directly from service providers.
-
Area Not Covered and Assigned to ACES-NH: The beneficiary may submit a connection request so the infrastructure can be implemented for the residential unit.
-
Area Not Covered and Assigned to Another Infrastructure Provider: The beneficiary will be directed to the infrastructure provider responsible for that area.
-
Area Not Covered and Not Assigned to Any Provider: The beneficiary may register an Expression of Interest for infrastructure delivery. The feasibility of providing the service will be studied with no obligation or liability on the company.
